Simple: Gaming = more RAM, Productivity = SSD. SSD will make apps, programs, maps (in games) load faster, but more RAM will store more memory of the map (in game) to increase performance when it requires more than your current 8Gb of RAM. In most cases 8Gb of RAM is enough for many games, but not all of them.
